No surprises, by design
Website pricing is famously murky. Here's how we think about it, in plain numbers.
The three real costs
- The build (one-time). $400–$1,400 depending on scope. This covers design, development, and launch.
- Your domain (annual). Roughly $15–50/year. You own this directly — it's your address.
- Hosting & care (monthly). $109.99/month after your included care period. This isn't just hosting: it's content updates, SEO adjustments, security, and support.
A worked example
A Professional build at $600, a .com.au domain at ~$25, and nine months of care at $109.99 (three months are included free) comes to roughly $1,615 in year one — for a fast, maintained, search-optimised site.
Compare that to a part-time web admin at $2,000+/month, or per-change freelance fees of $50–150 each.
You always know what you're paying and what it covers. That's the whole point.
